Production of electricity by the Solar Power Station of SKZ-U LLP with a capacity of 418 kWh

In April 2015, SKZ-U LLP was included in a special list of companies using photovoltaic modules based on Kazakhstan silicon (Kaz PV) for the conversion of the energy of solar radiation. Since that moment, the sale of electricity at the rate of 70 KZT/kW began in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 644 “On approval of a fixed rate for projects of solar power stations using photovoltaic modules based on Kazakhstan silicon (Kaz PV) for the conversion of the energy of solar radiation”

SKZ-U LLP additionally produces electricity.

Energy Complex is a part of the sulfuric acid plant, which uses lump sulfur burning and obtaining the necessary amount of heat for the Energy Complex as a feedstock.

The product of the Energy Complex is electric power, part of which provides the in-plant needs of the SAP in electricity, and its excess is sold to outside consumers. Additionally, heat energy is released and sold to consumers:

Activity of SKZ-U LLP is aimed at satisfying the sulfuric acid demand of uranium mining enterprises of NAC Kazatomprom JSC. The structure of SKZ-U LLP includes: sulfuric acid shop, energy complex, auxiliary departments, housing community, solar power station.
