Chronology of main events SKZ-U Limited Liability Company was established and registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan on August 25, 2007. 2010 – SKZ-U LLP received loans for the construction of a plant with a capacity of 500 000 tons of sulfuric acid per year in the Kyzylorda region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 2010-2012 – SKZ-U LLP was building a sulfuric acid plant and in the second half of 2012 started pilot production of sulfuric acid. December 20, 2012 – the State Acceptance Commission Act No. 30 was signed. The permissions of the regulatory authorities necessary for putting the plant into operation were obtained. 2013 – the industrial production of sulfuric acid started. Energy Complex began to produce electricity for in-plant use, without having the opportunity to access external grids. 2013 – the solar power station was commissioned in the framework of pilot operation with a capacity of 420 kW. The facility was put on the books in August 2014. The project was implemented by decision of the Participants in the framework of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the concept of transition to a “green economy”. 2014 – the sale of electricity to external grids began. 2015 – the sale of electricity generated by the SPS at the rate of KZT 70 per 1 kW (excluding VAT) began.
