SKZ-U LLP additionally produces electricity.

Energy Complex is a part of the sulfuric acid plant, which uses lump sulfur burning and obtaining the necessary amount of heat for the Energy Complex as a feedstock.

The product of the Energy Complex is electric power, part of which provides the in-plant needs of the SAP in electricity, and its excess is sold to outside consumers. Additionally, heat energy is released and sold to consumers:

• superheated steam for the production needs of the sulfuric acid plant;
• saturated steam to the deaerator;
• hot water for heating and ventilation.

The turbine capacity is 16.0 MW, the annual power output is 129613500 kWh.
