The XVIII Spartakiad of NAC Kazatomprom JSC completed in Almaty today. At the closing ceremony, the CEO of the national nuclear company Galymzhan Pirmatov congratulated the participants and fans on the successful completion of the main sports event of the holding.

"During the Spartakiad, you had an opportunity to talk with colleagues and discuss the latest news of the company. Such events are important for us, as sports unites people and strengthens the corporate spirit. It is not for nothing that "team" is one of our values. I am very glad today to see you emotion-charged, happy and energetic! All the teams showed a high level of sports training and outstanding results. Let there be new victories ahead!” Galymzhan Pirmatov said.

Over 800 employees of the company took part in the competitions of nuclear power engineers. Twenty-two teams competed for the title of the winner in nine sports.

UMP JSC won the first place and the champion title. MAEK LLP took the second place and TTC LLP won the third place.

The event closed with a ceremony of awarding the best athletes and teams. The prizewinners of sports competitions were awarded with cups and medals of the XVII Spartakiad of NAC Kazatomprom JSC.
