On March 1-3, Kazatomprom hosts a Women's Leadership Week.
This event, which has already become traditional for the nuclear holding, is aimed at revealing the professional and personal potential of women working in Kazatomprom and strengthening their role in solving important tasks for the Company.
During this week, a number of speeches, panel discussions and master classes will be held on the issues of formation and promotion of leadership among women. The speakers are women leaders from the quasi-public sector, private business and the nuclear industry.
Opening the event, Kazatomprom's Chief Commercial Officer, Alisher Taizhanov noted that the Company provides equal opportunities for everyone, adhering to the principles of gender equality. He especially singled out female managers who, showing their leadership qualities, unite the team and lead it behind them, achieving their goals.
The speakers who spoke on the first day are leaders in their field and an absolute inspiration for women all over Kazakhstan:
- Nazira Nurbayeva, Managing Director for Economics and Finance of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Member of the Board of Directors of Kazatomprom;
- Alfiya Adiyeva, General Director of Samruk-Kazyna Trust Social Projects Development Fund;
- Lyazzat Akhmurzina, Executive Director for Human Capital Development of KAZENERGY.
